Eid ul Fitr, also known as ‘the festival of the breaking of the fast,’ is celebrated worldwide at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Eid, the most significant day in Islamic culture and tradition, is typically marked on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic Calendar. It is a time to renew hope, faith, and gratitude for all.
During the Ramadan season, StudyMEDIC family organized an Iftar party on 20th of April 2023 to celebrate and thank the blessings of life. For StudyMEDIC, the party was not just the celebration of food, but also a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, bringing employees together and fostering a sense of togetherness and coordination among all.
As the Sun sets, the employees gathered at Havilah Restaurant, the spot of celebration. We all greeted each other with the phrase “Eid Mubarak” which means “blessed Eid.” With colorful decorations, wearing new clothes, women with mehandi on hands and added to the ambiance of the occasion. With delicious food and drinks, we shared the true spirit of togetherness of the season. The meal included all the special dishes and sweets and it was a pure blend of traditional and modern tastes. We all enjoyed it to the fullest.
Our Co-founder & CEO, Dr. Sowmya NS, expressed her happiness at seeing colleagues of different backgrounds and cultures come together to celebrate this special occasion in a spirit of unity and friendship. As the evening drew to a close, we all left the party with happy hearts, and memories that would last a lifetime.
